Away games may not offer a day in the stadium, yet you can still spend those hours surrounded by fellow Husker football fans. There are four remaining away games this season:

1. Oklahoma University - September 18
2. Michigan State - September 25
3. Minnesota - October 16
4. Wisconsin - November 20

The question is, where to go experience game day during these weeks? Campus and the surrounding downtown area offer many choices besides sports bars.

Attend Saturday's upcoming Husker Watch Party event at the stadium, hosted by SLICE. You'll be able to sit right on the field and enjoy the Oklahoma game during Family Weekend. This event is free for UNL students with NCard.

Latitude apartments at 11th and N streets contains a poolside big screen perfect for relaxing and enjoying the game, whether in the water or on the surrounding patio.

If you're looking to stay on campus, the Nebraska Union has multiple flatscreen TVs in the Starbucks common area perfect for catching up on the game with some friends.

Take a stroll around your residence hall– it's common for students to congregate in study rooms and common areas for watch parties. Oftentimes there are snacks, drinks and new people to meet, so give it a shot and see what you find.
