Humanities in Medicine Student Advisory Board
The group is hosting a free screening of IN SILICO at 6:30 p.m. November 10 in Love Library Room 102. The documentary follows a neuroscientist on his quest in exploring how the human brain really functions and attempting to recreate the brain digitally.

After the screening, there will be a virtual, honorary Q&A session with the director, Noah Hutton.

All students are invited to attend. Topics up for discussion include neuroscience; technology; and film development.

ASUN Student Government
All students are invited to the association's Night of Listening at 7 p.m. November 9 in the Nebraska Union Swanson Auditorium.

At this student-led town-hall event, Huskers will have the chance to dialogue the challenges facing students with state senators and local government officials, as well as their fellow students, to find common ground and be involved in the community, state and nation.

Elected officials in attendance will be:
• Adam Morfeld, state senator for District 46
• Patty Pansing Brooks, state senator for District 28
• John McCollister, state senator for District 20
• James Michael Bowers, chair of the Lincoln City Council and representative for NE District 1.

Each senator and council member will speak for a short time before opening the floor to students for questions and to share their stories.

Spectrum UNL
Join this RSO and the University Honors Program's 298H Social Activism class for a fun LGTBQA+ Trivia Night from 7 to 8 p.m. November 11 in the Nebraska Union.

Sigma Lambda Gamma
The sorority is hosting an Informational and Cultural Potluck from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. November 11 in the Nebraska Union.

The first 30 minutes are an informational to provide general details and requirements to join the sorority, followed by a Q&A session. Remaining time is a potluck-style social where students can bring a dish to share with other attendees. The event discusses the importance of being proud of one’s culture and the education of others.

Alpha Omicron Pi
The sorority is partnering with fraternity Alpha Gamma Rho for the annual Milk & Cookies event to raise money for Toys for Tots. The event is 6 to 9 p.m. November 11 at the Alpha Omicron Pi chapter house.

Attendees can purchase tickets for Milk and Cookies and come to the chapter house for cookies and hot chocolate. Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve which distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.

The Navigators
The organization is holding its weekly Nav Night for students to gather for worship and hear a message from the Bible from 6 to 10 p.m. November 11 in Henzlik Hall Auditorium Room 124.

Take Note
The women of Take Note are hosting their Fall Show at 7 p.m. November 12 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. The group will show off their hard work this semester with family, friends and students. The show will run 30 minutes to an hour. To raise funds for the group, there is an admission at the door: $5 adults (12 years and up); $3 children (5–11 years); FREE for children 4 years and younger.

From 7 to 8:30 p.m. November 12, enjoy a free Improv Comedy Show in the Nebraska Union's The Crib by the students of this performance group. Open to the public.

Nebraska Chess
The UNL chess club is hosting a USCF-rated Chess Tournament from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. November 13 at the Nebraska East Union.

The tournament is open to the public and will be directed by a local USCF official. This event is a fundraiser for the club - an entrance fee will be charged at the door. Attendees will be eligible for gift card prizes at the end of the tournament.

University Program Council
Sign up for a time between 12 to 8 p.m. November 13 to enjoy a Free Escape Room Experience with this RSO at the local Escape Lincoln location.

Students will have the opportunity to choose from two different room themes: Alice In Wonderland OR a supernatural experience solving a mystery to help a haunting ghost. See available times and sign up.

This event is free for UNL students and not open to the public.

Korean Student Association
Korean students who are interested in learning Hangeul through DIY creative activities are invited to Hangeul Night from 6:30 to 9 p.m. November 13 in the Nebraska Union Centennial Room.

Planned activities include decorating T-shirts or making Korean traditional toys by writing one's names or favorite Korean phrases. Korean food will be provided as a food-package to enjoy after the event.

An RSVP is required to attend.
