'A Delta Christmas Party' to benefit villages in Kenya, Dec. 4

Delta Sigma Theta sorority is hosting 'A Delta Christmas Party' at 5 p.m. Dec. 4 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom. The event includes a banquet-style dinner and silent auction with proceeds benefiting mental health resources to villages and cities in Kenya.

The proceeds will be donated to Global Mental Health Partnership, a non-profit organization that raises money to provide mental health resources to villages and cities in Kenya.

The silent auction will feature gift cards, fitness passes, Husker collector items and original art.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. A Delta Christmas Party is an event to raise funds that are donated to various philanthropic causes. Last year, the Omicron Chapter raised over $1000 dollars for Educate Uganda.
