Healthy holiday eating is focus of seminar

The winter holiday season can be a busy time to juggle family, friends, parties, and your own personal well-being and UNL Campus Recreation is offering a seminar to help you not only survive but also feeling good.

Two sessions of "Holiday Survival: Eat, Play, Be Merry!" are Dec. 1 at the Campus Rec Center, room 55. The first meets from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. and a second from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $5 per person and is open to all UNL students, faculty, staff and the public.

Attendees will sample more than 10 healthy foods and snacks, and receive a recipe booklet to share with family and friends. Easy tips for managing stress and fitting physical activity into a busy schedule will be shared too.

You can pay when you arrive for the seminar, however preregistration is recommended. Go to http://go.unl.edu/holiday_eats_prereg to preregister for a session.
