Did you know your student has access to a full-service pharmacy right on campus?

It’s located on level one of the University Health Center, directly inside the west entrance facing campus. Here’s how your student can take advantage of their services.

Fill prescriptions
To transfer an existing prescription, tell your student to call 402.472.7457. The pharmacists will take care of the rest.

If a student is prescribed a new medication, they can tell their health care provider to send the script to the health center pharmacy.

Additional benefits:

  • Mobile app for refills and reminders
  • Free mail order to eligible states
  • 60- and 90-day supplies for eligible medicines
  • Prescription counseling and co-pay assistance

Purchase affordable over-the-counter items
The pharmacy offers hundreds of non-prescription products at prices cheaper than what you’ll find off campus. Products include:
  • Vitamins
  • Pain relievers
  • Cold, flu and allergy medicine
  • First aid kit supplies
  • Personal hygiene products
  • Sexual health supplies and more

Get vaccinated for COVID-19
The pharmacy offers single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccines on a walk-in basis during normal business hours. Students must be 18 or older to receive this vaccine, and parental permission is required for those who are 18. Learn more.

Pick up a free cold care kit
Back by popular demand, the pharmacy once again offers free cold care kits to students. Each kit includes cough drops, tissues, lip balm, hand sanitizer, tea and other goodies. They are available during business hours while supplies last.

Safely dispose of old medicine
The pharmacy has a medication disposal box located in their lobby that is available for students to use during normal business hours. It is a safe, environmentally friendly way to get rid of expired or unwanted medicine – no questions asked.

The health center pharmacy is open Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and closed on Sundays. Encourage your student to come visit when they need us!
