More than 900 students volunteered for the Big Event on April 23, completing service projects across the community. Now in its 22nd year at Nebraska, the Big Event has grown to be the university’s single largest student-run community service project.
After a two-year hiatus, the annual step and stroll competition returned to the Coliseum on April 2. The event was sponsored by the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council, Fraternity & Sorority Life and OASIS. Relive the powerful performances through a pictorial recap.
More than 5,000 University of Nebraska–Lincoln students, faculty and staff have completed REACH training since Big Red Resilience and Well-Being launched the program in 2018. In the current academic year, interest in the suicide prevention training program has increased significantly.
Through May 12, the first-floor learning commons on City Campus is open 24-hours daily for studying and work on projects and exams. All other library locations - including Love Library and the Dinsdale Family Learning Commons - are open during their regular hours.

Based on student survey data, Big Red Resilience and Well-Being will soon add a new dimension for well-being – creativity. This tenth dimension of well-being expands upon the current nine implemented in 2018 and will increase opportunities for students to de-stress in healthy ways.

The Glenn Korff School of Music presents A Musical Theatre Cabaret I and II May 6 and 7. Musical theatre graduate and undergraduate students will be performing two cabarets each evening at 7:30 and 9 p.m. in Westbrook Music Building, Room 119. The performances are free and open to the public.
