You and your family are making a significant investment in your student’s education. Where your student lives can play a major role in his/her progress towards graduation.

As you consider housing options for next year, keep in mind the following:

  • Students who live on campus tend to be more engaged in campus life, leading to higher grade point averages and higher graduation rates. Both grade point averages and graduation rates improve with the number of additional years a student lives in a residence hall.
  • Housing contracts are for a 9-month academic year (not 12 months). Traditional and suite-style rooms include an unlimited meal plan; apartment-style rooms (Courtyards, Village and East Campus Hall apartment-style) include 2 meals per week. All utilities are provided. Returning students receive a significant discount on traditional hall rates.
  • Depending on space availability, your student has the flexibility to change roommates or move to a different hall or facility-type—they are not locked into a specific unit.
