Diversity, inclusion leader offers office hours to campus

Nebraska’s inaugural vice chancellor for diversity and inclusion is holding regular office hours to encourage one-on-one meetings with students, faculty and staff.

Since April 1, Marco Barker has led the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s newly formed Office of Diversity and Inclusion. The office is responsible for shaping the policies, protocols and practices needed to advance diversity, equity and inclusion across the university. His work focuses on fostering an inclusive, equitable and welcoming campus through collaborations with university partners, allies and the local community.

Barker is holding office hours on City and East campuses. Availability is 4 to 6 p.m. on the last Monday of the month in Canfield Administration Building South, Room 208; and 4 to 6 p.m. the third Monday of the month in the Nebraska East Union, Room 301.
