Applications are open for the 2024-25 teaching grants from the Center for Transformative Teaching. The grants are part of CTT’s commitment to student success through inclusive, innovative, research-informed teaching.

All full-time faculty and graduate students who will be teaching at least one class in fall 2024 or spring 2025 at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln are eligible to apply for one of three types of grants: Pedagogic Intervention, Incubation Fund, and Student-faculty Collaboration. Ten instructor-led projects will be selected along with five GTA-led projects. The maximum award for each grant is $1,000. This year’s theme is narrowing equity gaps and reducing drop, fail or withdraw rates, and applications should be submitted by February 1, 2024.

In alignment with the N2025 strategy, the three grant programs focus on the idea that every person and every interaction matters at Nebraska. Grant funds are to be used to create transformative learning experiences that engage students in creating knowledge, increasing interdisciplinary inquiry, demonstrating achievement, and preparing for their futures.
