WasteCap Nebraska, a green-minded nonprofit that collaborates with leading local businesses to improve corporate sustainability, will be hosting a student forum for all UNL students from 2-3:30 p.m., Nov. 5 in the Hardin Hall auditorium (room 107).
The theme is "Greenovation" or the idea that students are the innovators for the restoration of our world. Whether on a personal or corporate level, the choice of becoming more "sustainable" continues to be ambiguous.
The keynote speaker will be Joshua Skov of Good Company, who will help educate and explore what these terms mean for the future generation's business and advocacy.
Living in a modern age, we communicate a lot, but is all of our communication making the impact we want? Another aspect of "greenovation" is how we represent our ideas to influence outside parties.
This forum is designed to encourage student involvement on campus and in the community now and explore what it means to "greenovate."
