The Center for Transformative Teaching will host a workshop on August 27 that will provide an overview of approaches instructors can take to ensure exam security, which has become more challenging during the pandemic. It will focus on delivering exams through online assessment software and will cover the challenges presented by websites like Chegg.
It will also share different approaches that can be taken using technology available at the university, including exam randomization techniques, dividing exams into smaller pieces and synchronizing their delivery, and implementing lock-down browsers. Time is allotted for a substantial Q&A segment.
