February is a great time for your students to connect with employers and learn about internships and full-time employment opportunities. Below are the early spring semester career fairs and events you can promote to your students. Over 250 employers are registered for these events, with registrations still coming in. Students can log into Handshake to register, see who is attending each day, and learn more.

Additional career resources to help your students prepare for upcoming fairs and events:

  • Career Fair Prep Resources: short videos to help students prepare to connect with employers.

  • UNL Career Team: This team of professionals across campus help support students in their career development through education, individual and group advising, employer connections, and so much more. Encourage students to connect with their career coach in their Student Success portal.

  • Husker Suit-Up: hosted by JCPenney and UNL Career Services, students can build up their professional wardrobe by receiving a discount on career and dress apparel.

  • Self-Serve Headshot Stations: students can update their profile pics by utilizing the self-serve headshot stations during normal business hours. 2 locations open during normal business hours: Nebraska Union, room 225 University Career Services, and East Campus Union, room 225 Admin Suite.

  • @UNLCareerServices: students and faculty can follow Career Services social accounts to get career development tips and tricks into their feeds.
