The deadline for CTT’s teaching grants is Feb. 1.

Applications are open for 2024-25 teaching grants from the Center for Transformative Teaching and should be submitted by Feb. 1. The grants are part of CTT’s commitment to student success through inclusive, innovative, research-informed teaching.

All full-time faculty and graduate students who will be teaching at least one class in fall 2024 or spring 2025 at UNL are eligible to apply for one of three types of grants: Pedagogic Intervention, Incubation Fund, and Student-faculty Collaboration. Ten instructor-led projects will be selected along with five GTA-led projects. The maximum award for each grant is $1,000. This year’s theme is narrowing equity gaps and reducing drop, fail or withdraw rates.

In alignment with the N2025 strategic plan, the three grant programs focus on the idea that every person and every interaction matters at Nebraska. Grant funds are to be used to create transformative learning experiences that engage students in creating knowledge, increasing interdisciplinary inquiry, demonstrating achievement, and preparing for their futures.
