Plant pathology series continues Feb. 27

Craig Langemeier, a master's student in UNL's Jackson Research Group, will present "Factors Affecting Development of Goss's Bacterial Wilt and Blight of Corn," at 4 p.m., Feb. 27 in 264 Keim Hall. The seminar is free and open to the public.

The Jackson Research Group is led by Tamara Jackson, assistant professor of plant pathology. Jackson is responsible for statewide extension programming and research on established and emerging diseases of corn and sorghum. She is interested in applied research leading to improved disease diagnostics and management strategies to minimize loss of yield and quality.
