Thirteen-time National Speaker of the Year David Coleman, the Dating Doctor, will appear at the UNL on April 5.
Coleman, who was named the 2011 Entertainer of the Year by Campus Activities Magazine, will present "Making Relationships Matter" beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. Admission is free for UNL students with valid NCard and is $5 for faculty, staff and the public.
Coleman's humor and useful relationship advice has made him a favorite at campuses nationwide. He has spoken to more than 2 million people in all 50 states, Canada and Europe. Audience members at more than 2,500 college campuses, corporations, conferences, singles organizations, military installations, churches and civic groups have experienced his energetic and entertaining programs. His book, "Making Relationships Matter," has completed its second printing run, and his previous works, "Date Smart!" and "101 Great Dates" are well known and respected publications.
His appearance is sponsored by the University Program Council and the UNL Black Masque Chapter of Mortar Board.
