Women of STEM fields invited to reception Nov. 22

Advance-Nebraska is sponsoring a wine and cheese reception for UNL women faculty in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, 4:30-6 p.m., Nov. 22 in Morrill Hall. RSVP to advance2@unl.edu.

In 2008, UNL won a $3.8 million Advance program grant from the National Science Foundation. The goal of Advance-Nebraska is to create an environment at UNL where all Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics faculty thrive. The grant supports best practices to increase recruitment and retention of women STEM faculty and efforts to study what practices best support their academic success.
