Evolutionary biologist Futuyma to give lecture today

Douglas Futuyma, one of the world's leading evolutionary biologists, will present "Macroevolution and the Evolutionary Synthesis" at 3:30 p.m., March 31 in Love Library South room 102. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Futuyma is a professor of ecology and evolution at Stony Brook University in New York. His lecture is part of the the School of Biological Sciences seminar series. Futuyma's research focuses on speciation and the evolution of plant-insect interactions.
