Raikes School to host speaker on innovation strategy

Larry Keeley, a leading innovation and strategy consultant, will speak at The Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management on Friday.

Keeley is a leading innovation and strategy consultant with the Monitor Group, a global management consulting firm that advises the world's leading corporations and nonprofits on issues of strategy, organization and innovation.

Keeley has worked with a wide variety of pioneering enterprises since 1979. He is a president and co-founder of Doblin Inc., a Monitor Group company and a partner in the Monitor Group. Keeley is a board member for the Illinois Institute of Technology Institute of Design, where he also teaches graduate-level innovation strategy classes. He is a lecturer in innovation at Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and the University of Chicago and at many executive education programs.

Keeley will speak from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Raikes School's Kauffman Center, with a reception immediately following his remarks. After the speech, guests are welcome to stay and view Raikes School students' Design Studio projects and learn more about the Raikes School of Computer Science and Management.

The Raikes School of Computer Science and Management is recognized as a leader in interdisciplinary computer science and business management education. This honors program recruits high ability students, provides them an accelerated education and develops high impact leaders which are highly sought in the business world.
