Tony nominated 'The Importance of Being Earnest' to show at the Ross

The critically acclaimed revival of Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" will be broadcast live from Broadway to the screen at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center at 7 p.m., June 9. An encore performance will show at 3 p.m., June 12.

Nominated for three 2011 Tony Awards, "The Importance of Being Earnest" stars Brian Bedford as Lady Bracknell. The show is a comedic masterpiece about class, courtship and good, old-fashioned name dropping.

The Tony Award nominations are for Best Revival of a Play, Best Actor (Bedford) and Best Costumes (Desmond Heeley).

Individual tickets are $23 general admission, $21 seniors, $16 students, Friends of the Ross, and children, and $5 UNL students (with a valid NCard). Tickets are available through the link below and at the Ross box office.
