A faculty forum to discuss internal funding programs at UNL is 8 a.m., Sept. 28 in the Nebraska Union.

The Office of Research and Economic Development has released calls for proposals for these internal funding programs: the Arts and Humanities Research Enhancement Fund; Minority Health Research awards; and Layman awards, including the traditional seed program and the recently established New Directions program. All proposals are due by noon, Nov. 11. Applications for Strategic Research Cluster grants are accepted any time.

During the forum, Kim Espy, associate vice chancellor for research, will review internal funding program requirements and discuss potential projects.
