If the Student Pays the Full Balance
When a student pays their past-due balance in full, the Student Accounts hold lifts automatically at 15 minutes past the next hour after payment. If payment is made at 9:30, the hold will be lifted at 10:15.
If the Student Reduces the Balance to Below $200
While the preference is always that students pay their bill in full, they can register if the bill drops below $200. When that happens, the registration hold is removed and replaced with a past-due account indicator. Because this is an overnight batch process, the student will not be able to enroll until the following day.
Students can call Husker Hub at 402-472-2030 to request a temporary lift when their balance drops below $200 if they don’t want to wait for the overnight process.
