Join us on March 31, 5:00 – 6:30 in Swanson Auditorium, Nebraska Union, for a screening of She Dared to Dream: Ayanna Pressley, a documentary tracing the historic journey of the first Black woman elected to Congress from Massachusetts and her commitment to courageous leadership and meaningful policy change.
Following the film, a moderated panel featuring campus and community leaders will explore themes of advocacy, resilience, identity and the impact of representation in public life. Together, we will examine how leadership challenges systems, expands opportunity and shapes more inclusive communities.
This event offers space to reflect, engage in dialogue and consider the role each of us plays in civic participation and community change.
