The Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts is pleased to introduce our new Academic Advisor who will serve students in the Glenn Korff School of Music. Adrien Loehring is joining the FPA Student Success team after nearly 15 years of experience working in various student services roles in higher education including residence life, student development, student activities, wellness and prevention programming, recruiting, strategic planning, grant writing, inclusion training, and orientation. Her personal passion for the creative arts drew her to this position in FPA. Adrien has worked in diverse campus environments including community colleges, mid-sized regional institutions, and large state universities, which has given her the opportunity to work with a wide variety of students, faculty, staff, and administration. Adien's keen understanding of the complexities of academic advising in the fine arts and her ability to partner with students, faculty, staff and other stakeholders will be assets in this role.
