Social Media Coordinator - Bailey Lauerman (Omaha, NE)

The Social Media Coordinator will play a key role in assisting in the execution of organic and paid social media strategies and managing the online listings and review management platforms for our clients. You’ll work closely alongside our creative, account planning and account management teams to support a variety of department and client activities as needed.

Social coordinator responsibilities include:
> Supports department with day-to-day execution of client and department activities
> Manages client online business listings and review management system
> Actively replies to all online reviews for clients as needed
> Ensures client online business listings are up-to-date and accurate and works with vendor to ensure best practices
> Monitors and reports on social media data, and mentions for clients, campaigns and competitors in pre- and post-campaign insights and reports
> Research and create competitive analysis reports providing insights and recommendations on best practices across clients and industries
> Work with Social Media Director to define and track social media tactics
> Content creation, content publishing and community management as assigned for client or internal channels
> Research and identify potential influencers for campaign activations
> Collaborates with Accounting team to help track budgets and assists team with paid social billing and administrative processes
> Develops high-quality written materials for social media briefs, content and client correspondence as needed
> Works independently to meet deadlines while monitoring budgets and projects
> Pursues opportunities for professional development

Qualifications:
> Applicant must have previous experience in managing, monitoring and reporting on social media platforms on behalf of a brand or organization
> Previous experience in conducting competitor and industry research
> Experience in managing Google Business Listings preferred
> Review management experience preferred
> Paid social media experience preferred
> Ability to understand data and apply insights and learnings
> Ability to quickly adapt to changing client and team needs
> Motivated, entrepreneurial spirit bringing new ideas to the team and clients
> Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
> Sharp attention to detail
> Familiarity with social media influencer software (Sprinklr, Grin, Netbase, SproutSocial, etc.) in addition to standard applications like Excel and Google Slides
> Ability to effectively manage deadlines and to juggle multiple tasks
> Ability to collaborate across disciplines – paid media, social media, digital, creative, strategy, etc.
> Adaptable and eager to learn digital and social media strategies

Experience:
> 1 – 2 years experience in a social media role; agency experience preferred
> Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
