Digital Marketing Intern - FES/Inceptia (Lincoln, NE)

Our Digital Marketing Intern will facilitate social media planning and web initiatives to drive community engagement and brand advocacy across multiple platforms. This individual will work closely with the marketing and financial education team to coordinate the successful development of digital channels, as well as complete administrative tasks to support online programs. The ideal candidate loves interactive technologies, is excellent at managing multiple projects and is ready to have fun and learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
> Gather information and assist in timely distribution of articles and research.
> Write, publish and maintain current content on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media platforms with the aim of engaging Inceptia’s target audiences.
> Assist with website and social media maintenance.
> Create and maintain a comprehensive social media schedule by research and meeting with various stakeholders to develop content.
> Track effectiveness of website, social and general marketing campaigns and compile statistics into monthly reports.
> Draft and/or edit marketing materials including, but not limited to emails, PowerPoint presentations, e-books, and social posts, as directed.
> Manage and maintain up-to-date topic list for publications, newsletters, conferences, etc.
> Participate in the coordination of meetings, webinars, conferences, and other events as needed.
> Help in the collection of qualified leads from a variety of sources including webinars and websites.

What you’ll need:
> Minimum of one year of college with marketing-related coursework or one to two years related experience and/or training. Or, a high school diploma and at least one year of study at an accredited postsecondary institution in business, marketing, journalism or a related field required.
> Expertise in publishing or participating on blogs, social news, video/photo sharing, social networking applications with a strong personal interactive reputation.
> Experience with monitoring, engagement and analytics platforms a plus.
> Competent with all Microsoft Office software including the ability to research and create dynamic reports.
> Tech savvy and an interest in social media, digital marketing and related activities.
> Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
> Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others, as well as perform in a self-directed capacity.
> Manages multiple tasks simultaneously and organizes work to meet deadlines.
> Design background and/or Adobe knowledge is a plus.
> Successful completion of a background investigation is required.
