Part-Time Content Writer
Approximately 25 hours per week.
As a Forgelight content writer, you’ll primarily be creating strategies and writing content for social media, blog posts, and newsletters. You may also be asked to perform other tasks so some skills in other creative areas will be useful. This position will likely have an opportunity to move to full time in the next 6 months.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
• Current student or graduate from an ad/PR, Journalism, English, or similar 4-year degree program OR have at least two years of professional content writing experience. For current students, preference will be given to those in their senior year.
• Some content writing experience personally, academically, or professionally.
• An ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• A willingness to seek out opportunities to provide value outside of your job role.

Web Design & Development Intern
Approximately 20 hours per week.
As a Forgelight web development intern, you will help create and maintain websites for clients, primarily using WordPress and Squarespace. You may also be asked to perform other tasks so some skills in other creative areas will be useful.
Necessary Skills and Experience:
• Current student or graduate from a computer science, ad/PR, or similar 4-year degree program OR have at least one year of professional web development experience.
• Some knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript. Some PHP knowledge preferred but not required.
• Some experience with Google Analytics.
• A basic understanding of website UI/UX best practices.
• An ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
• A willingness to seek out opportunities to provide value outside of your job role.
