Darby Walsh recently joined Nebraska Extension in Lancaster County as an Extension Assistant who will help support the Nutrition Education Program (NEP). She will focus on engaging youth and young adults with nutrition information as well as increasing nutrition access in Lancaster County. Her position is funded by the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), which is the primary federal nutrition education program. She graduated from Midland University last spring with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, minoring in Chemistry and Nutrition.
