The conference will bring together leading scholars and policy experts to discuss state-of-the-art knowledge regarding the nexus of human rights and the environment. Zellmer and McMahon will present a synopsis paper of a UNL workshop on Water Security aimed at increasing awareness of issues surrounding water security and peace in the Middle East and around the world, focusing on the various ways international actors, countries, and communities cooperate around water and natural resources.
