Shavers, Willborn Speak at 9th Annual Law/Psychology “Think Tank” Conference

Future Directions in Psychology, Public Policy and the Law, hosted by Richard Wiener, featured legal and social science scholars speaking on the topics of immigration, LGBT issues in the law, discrimination, and child welfare.

Anna Shavers and Steve Willborn joined guest speakers from the University of Oregon, University of Cambridge, University of California, Los Angeles, University of Kentucky, Seton Hall University, Stanford University and the University of Texas at El Paso.

Shavers participated in a discussion on Social Psychological Issues in Immigration Studies and Willborn discussed The Psychological Science of Workable Solutions to Discrimination.

The UNL Law-Psychology Program conference is funded by a UNL Program of Excellence award.
