The Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) is a National Science Foundation program that provides funding to STEM (science, technology, engineering or mathematics or in STEM education) students selected early as either graduating seniors or first year graduate students. They are selected based on their demonstrated potential for significant research achievements. Three years of generous support is provided by the program for graduate study that leads to a research-based master’s or doctoral degree in STEM or STEM education.
