Math Motivators Video, Presentation, and Volunteer Link and Instructions
Many students indicated that they were interested in being involved in Math Motivators, but were unable to attend the information session last Friday (August 30). The PowerPoint presentation that was presented at the meeting is available here: https://unl.box.com/s/ngyii28ez49kyagsbqs2nh3xgxz8g267. Below is a link to a video prepared by Milliman, a Math Motivators sponsor in Seattle, that gives a good description of the Math Motivators program. This link is followed by instructions on how to sign up through a Volunteer Hub. Please note that signing up through Volunteer Hub is just an indication of your interest. It is not a commitment to volunteer for sure. The program will be in contact with everyone who signs up through Volunteer Hub in the next week or so once we hear back on the exact times and days that the schools want us to tutor. After that, you can then let the program know if it works in your schedule and if you want to commit to an hour or more of tutoring per week.

Also included is the Volunteer Hub (link below) to sign up for tutoring and instructions on how to register:
1. The tutor will need to create an account with a username and password.
2. Then they will see a bar for a “Join Code”; you will put “UNL” in this field.
3. Fill in the information as requested.
4. At the very end, there will be a box applicable to NY. It is not relevant to us, but for the system to finish, you will need to put zero’s into the box (follow the instructions).
This system will be used to help manage the tutoring logistics, reports, etc… during the year. The link is:
