CREATING A RESEARCH POSTER

• In this session, you’ll see examples of posters from different disciplines and learn how to present your data and information in a way that is clear, informative, and accessible.
• This session is especially recommended for students who are preparing their first poster for the Nebraska Spring Research Fair or a disciplinary conference.

CAREER FAIR PREP WALK-IN DAY WITH CAS CAREER COACHES
Monday, February 10th, 8:30-11:30am and 12:30-4:00pm, 107 Oldfather Hall
• Career Coaches Kristen Aldrich and Meagan Savage will be holding 20 minute walk-in times for quick career fair preparation
• Stop into the Academic and Career Advising Center in 107 Oldfather Hall to sign-up for a time
CAREER FAIR TOURS
Tuesday, February 11th, 1:30 & 2:30pm, Crib, NE Union (City Campus)
Wednesday, February 12th, 3 & 4pm, Crib, NE Union (City Campus)
• This guided walk-through will provide students with:
- Insight into and confidence in attending a fair
- Tips for navigating a fair (Career Fair Plus App)
- Best practices for interacting with employers
- Connections with other students
- An opportunity to win a prize!
• Tours will last 45-60 minutes to which we have selected different stopping points for students to hear from employers and learn on how to best prepare before, during, and after the fairs.

• Dress code allows for jeans and T’s, but if students plan on attending the Career Fair after their tour or would like a professional headshot, we encourage students to come dressed professionally.
