Greetings!

My name is Ashley Watson, and I am the Academic Program Coordinator II for Georgia Tech’s MS in Quantitative and Computational Finance (QCF) Program. We are one of the only Financial Engineering programs in the Southern US, and we are currently ranked #11 in QuantNet’s 2020 ranking of Financial Engineering Programs in North America. Our students learn the quantitative/analytical and computational skills needed to work in various sectors within the finance industry, including investment banking, sales and trading, asset/wealth management, risk management, financial technology, data science and analytics, consulting and more.

Some quick facts about graduates from our program:

• 100% of QCF Fall 2018 graduates seeking full-time employment were employed within 3 months of graduation.
• Average compensation was $110k with our highest compensation coming in @ $160k.
• Employers of our recent graduates include: JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, EY, Bank of America, Barclays, Millennium Advisors, Invesco, Voya, Chicago Trading Company, Citi, Invesco, Dimensional Fund Advisors, SunTrust and more…
• Concepts/projects in Machine Learning will be covered in each core class.
• No work experience is required to be admitted to the program.

Ideal candidates would be undergraduate students studying computer science, all disciplines within engineering, math/applied math, statistics, and economics.
