Causeway Postbaccalaureate Certificate Program at Northwestern University

The Causeway Postbaccalaureate Certificate Program is a postbaccalaureate program in mathematical sciences at Northwestern University sponsored by Northwestern and the National Science Foundation. Causeway is a 12-month program designed to prepare students for graduate study in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics through coursework, a research experience, seminars, and mentorship. Causeway’s mission is to increase the number of graduate students in the mathematical sciences from historically under-represented groups.

Causeway is tuition-free and provides students with a living stipend of approximately $37,000 per year as well as health insurance.
