Upward Bound Math and Science Program Opportunity

The Upward Bound Math and Science program works to provide opportunities for students to experience STEM activities in hands on learning activities. Their students are rising sophomores and juniors in high school and are interested in STEM activities that can engage and expose them to the possibilities and application of math beyond the classroom.

The Upward Bound Math and Science program is looking for a student who can provide math-based activities for their high school student. The interested student will to teach 10-12 high school students interested in math. This could involve lessons, games, and other fun ways to interact with math that the interest student would develop. The activities would be for two groups of students from the hours of 1:00 - 3:00 pm during the dates of June 19th - 22nd and June 26th - 29th. The student chosen for the position will be paid a modest amount per week.

Interested students should contact Doug Pellatz by 5 pm on Friday, March 31st. Doug will help these students connect with the Upward Bound Math and Science program staff.
