The Design and Refinement of Modules for Developing Critically Conscious Mathematics Teachers is a collaborative project with the goal of addressing anti-Blackness in mathematics teacher preparation using network improvement science. During this NIC-Cast, presenters will share an overview of the modules that address topics such as understanding the Standards for Mathematical Practice, mathematics identity, and how anti-Blackness shows up in mathematics classrooms. They will present findings related to their preservice teachers' development as critically conscious math teachers and discuss the impact on the mathematics teacher educators who implemented the modules.
