Tennis and Beginning Golf Lessons offered in March

Campus Recreation offers several leisure recreation courses this spring, including Beginning Golf Lessons and Tennis Lessons.

TENNIS LESSONS
Tennis lessons will be held 5:30-7 p.m. Mar. 13–Apr. 12 at the 14th & Avery St. Tennis Courts. Participants will practice tennis strokes including forehand, backhand, volley, lob, and serve for competency. Participants will also learn to understand scoring terminology, as well as singles and doubles playing strategies. Fees are $45 for UNL students or Campus Rec members and $55 for General Public. Participants can register until Mar. 6 at http://go.unl.edu/tennis

BEGINNING GOLF LESSONS
Beginning golf lessons will be held 4:30-6:30 p.m. Mar. 28–Apr. 25. Beginning or novice golfers will learn the basics of golf. Access to transportation is required. Materials, green/driving range fees and club usage included in class fee, which is $60 for UNL students or Campus Rec members and $75 for General Public. Participants can register until Mar. 21 at http://go.unl.edu/golflessons

Registrations for both sessions are accepted online at the links above or in person at the Member Service desk at the Campus Rec Center, the Rec & Wellness Center on East Campus or the Outdoor Adventures Center.
