Isolation housing will continue to be available to students through the winter break.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln offers isolation housing at no additional cost to any student who tests positive for COVID-19. If your student tests positive prior to their return home, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department recommends that they remain in their current location or move to the university’s isolation housing to prevent spreading the virus to others.

Once a student receives a positive test result:
1) They should email covid19@unl.edu or text 402-266-6865 to notify the university.
2) Students who need isolation housing can contact Student Advocacy and Support at 402-472-3204. Residence hall students should contact Residence Life at 402-472-1717.

Students who have tested positive for COVID-19 or are quarantining due to exposure should not return home. The university will continue to assist students through the holiday period as needed.
