Experts say blockchain is about to change everything. But, what is it and how? In this year's Lewis E. Harris Lecture, Betta Warburg-Johnson will discuss "Blockchain, Web3 and the Future of the Internet" on Friday, November 6, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The online lecture is open to the public and will describe how blockchain and Web3 will impact our future and create distributed, transparent, autonomous systems for exchanging value.

An investor, speaker, entrepreneur, researcher and author, she launched Warburg Serres Investments, an early-stage venture capital fund focused on investing in the Web 3 computing stack in 2019. She is co-founder and managing partner of Animal Ventures, an investment advisory firm that educates and advises Fortune 100 companies on how to invest in the future of decentralized software architecture and blockchain. In 2016, she was the first speaker at TED to unpack the topic of blockchain. Her talk, how Blockchain will radically transform the economy, has been seen by over 5 million people.
