This spring has brought about unprecedented change at the University of Nebraska and more broadly in higher education. In a short period of time, the campus pivoted classes to remote learning in a matter of two weeks, graduated our first class virtually and offered our entire portfolio of summer courses online.
More specifically, the Department of Supply Chain Management and Analytics continues to shine as the expertise of their faculty has been highlighted both locally and nationally. They also continue to innovate around teaching by enhancing the portfolio of online graduate programs being made available to students independent of their geographic constraints.
I’m excited about what the department is building in the college to support both our undergraduate and graduate students but also about how they are informing business decisions that impact the world.
