Twenty senior students have been selected as University of Nebraska–Lincoln homecoming royalty finalists. Two of the finalists, Megan-Francis Snow and Cordell Vrbka are SNR majors.
The royalty winners will be elected by the student body in an online vote Oct. 25 and 26. They will be crowned Oct. 28 at halftime of the Nebraska vs. Purdue football game, which kicks off at 2:30 p.m. in Memorial Stadium.
Students named to homecoming royalty are listed below by hometown, with their academic major(s) and parents’ names.
Nebraska
- Beatrice: Whitney Schwisow, actuarial science, Roy and Rebecca Schwisow.
- Elkhorn: Paul Pechous, special education (7-12) and political science, Don and Nicki Pechous.
