The Faculty Jazz Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. March 9 in Westbrook Hall.
The program, which is free and open to the public, includes two new works by Thomas Larson, lecturer in the Glenn Korff School of Music. The new works are "The Invisibles" and "Flashback."
Other parts of the repertoire include: Eric Richards' adaptation of his original work for big band, "Wolfdenfunk," and an arrangement of Wayne Shorter's "One By One;" "Avenues" by California-based guitarist Peter Sprague; and a tribute to Michele Deaton, the business manager for the School of Music who died Nov. 16.
