Combined Campaign is an annual community pledge drive that benefits three federations — Community Health Charities of Nebraska, Community Services Fund and United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County. The three federations represent more than 110 local agencies that assist members of the community.

UNL is consistently one of the top fundraisers for the drive. Last year, UNL employees gave $387,833 toward the effort. Giving by UNL for the current campaign stands at $376,000.

"We ask each member of the university community to think carefully about the positive change you can make through a gift of any size," said Juan Franco, vice chancellor for student affairs and UNL's chair for the 2016 Combined Campaign. "This is our opportunity to show the world that we care about our community."

The campaign was initially scheduled to run from Oct. 19-30. It has been extended to allow employees a final opportunity to give donations.

Only paper pledges are being accepted at this point. Combined Campaign materials delivered to employees in October include the paper pledge forms. They are also available online at http://go.unl.edu/ixe2.
