CTT Teaching Grants
Faculty have until April 30 to apply for the next round of CTT Teaching Grants. These grants award up to $1,000 and aim to help faculty explore ways they can improve their teaching through interventions, innovations, and collaborations with students. Teaching a Growth Mindset Workshop
Learn what a growth mindset is, how to convey a growth mindset to students, the impact of an instructor’s mindset on students, and the various ways course materials and interactions can encourage students to adopt a growth mindset. Originally scheduled for February, this workshop will now be held on April 14 from 1 - 2 p.m. Register online.
Developing an Undergraduate Learning Assistant Program Workshop Series
In this series of sessions, participants will learn how to establish and manage an undergraduate teaching assistant program, gain a basic overview of how these programs work and why they can be valuable, and then walk through many aspects of implementation. Workshops will be held daily March 29 - April 2 from 2:30 - 4 p.m. The first session will focus on material that will be foundational to the remaining sessions, and each session will be recorded for those unable to attend at the time specified.
