Fall Career Fairs will connect students with employers recruiting for internships and full-time positions in a four day in-person event Sept. 21-24 and a virtual event Oct. 12-13.

In-person Career Fair
Students can connect with employers recruiting for internships and full-time positions at the in-person events on Sept. 21-24. Over 130 employers are already registered to be at one or more days of the event. Each day is focused on different career interest pathways listed online. The first three days will be held in the Nebraska Union on City Campus from 12 - 4 p.m. The fourth day will be held in the East Campus Union from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Student registration for the in-person events will open in Handshake on August 30. Encourage students to download the Career Fair app for employers, their contact information, and a map of where they will be located. A professional photographer will be available to take photos of participating students.

Virtual Career Fair
Handshake will be the platform for the virtual event on Oct. 12-13 from 2 - 4 p.m. Students must register through Handshake, which will allow them to schedule one-on-one meetings or to reserve a spot in group sessions with employers. Registration opens on Sept. 20.

Instructors can advise students to visit the Career Services website for a successful Career Fair experience. There they will find resources and guidance on employer interaction, advice on what to wear, how to research employers, how to prepare for virtual meetings, and more. Students can find their Career Coach online and set up an appointment through MyPlan.
