“Our Nebraska” is a week-long celebration of inclusion and the Nebraska community. Outstanding local storytellers will inspire and incite thoughtful conversations. Please plan to attend these free events March 6-10, 2017 and encourage your students to do so as well.
The week of “Our Nebraska” events includes:
• Slam Poetry competition, Monday, Mar. 6 from 8-10 p.m.
• Dish It Up conversations on hot topics, Tuesday, Mar. 7 & Wednesday, Mar. 8 from 12-2 p.m. (with Raising Canes on Wednesday!)
• Local band performance & inspiring speech from Coach Mike Riley, Thursday, Mar. 9 from 6:30-8 p.m.
• Student leader luncheon to discuss how to implement change, Friday, Mar. 10 from 12-2 p.m.
