3rd Annual Husker Dialogues set for Thursday, September 6th

Husker Dialogues
Husker Dialogues

Last fall, over 3,200 first year students and 300 faculty, staff, and upper-class students participated in Husker Dialogues, an event designed to build skills for meaningful conversations and to help create an inclusive Husker community. Husker Dialogues uses small group discussions to lay the foundation for practicing and engaging in conversations about diversity and inclusion. Over 87% of participating students reported that they were more aware of diversity in the campus community because of Husker Dialogues.

This year, Husker Dialogues will be held on Thursday, September 6 from 7:00 - 8:45 pm in the Bob Devaney Sports Center. You can support Husker Dialogues by including information in your syllabus about the event and encouraging your first year students to attend. You can even give students “extra points” for attending. Students scan their “N” cards at the door to register their attendance and we can provide you a list of all students who attend.
