Save your students money with pilot program

Follett's IncludED and Unizin's Engage Inclusive Access
Follett's IncludED and Unizin's Engage Inclusive Access

The STAR Inclusive Access Pilot is now taking requests from instructors who wish to participate. Courses with high enrollment or high-cost textbooks are preferred for this pilot.

The STAR team is looking for one instructor who is interested in using the Unizin Engage platform this summer. There are opportunities available in the fall for both the Follett University Bookstore IncludED and Unizin Engage platforms.

The first inclusive access option is provided by Unizin through the Engage tool and accessed through Canvas. Instructors select course material, which is available on day one or before for student use and instructor review. Student analytics are available for instructors using Engage material in their Canvas course. Students can print up to 50 pages at a time for all publisher titles.

The second option is provided by the Follett University Bookstore through the IncludED tool in Canvas. Course materials will be automatically assigned to the course on day one or before for student use and instructor review. Print options are available for students by publisher choice.

The benefits of inclusive access provided by both options include: 1. save students money, 2. no decrease in student success*, 3. easy for faculty to adopt e-textbooks and courseware, 4. deliver material from top publishers in Canvas, and 5. no need for student access codes.

Student textbook costs have increased over 800% in the last three decades — this is four times the rate of inflation. Inclusive access is an easy way to provide affordable content on day one for students.
