Final Newsletter-May 2017
As I write this final newsletter as UAAD President, my reflections on the 2016-2017 year start and end with the numerous times we were called upon, as a UNL staff association, to contribute to the future of our University.
It has been quite the year and I was proud to serve UAAD as your president for 2016-2017. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to represent you. I would not have traded any of the experiences this year provided. We should all feel fortunate that we have President Bounds and Chancellor Green as our university leaders, as both have recognized UAAD as a voice for Managerial/Professional staff at UNL and reached out to us on many occasions this year. I believe we have unlimited opportunities to move forward in continuing to develop the best possible staff association. I hope you all renew your memberships in the fall. We have excellent leaders in the wings for UAAD this coming year and discussions will continue on how we use Board and member input in leading us into the future. And the future looks bright!
