U-Wide staff presidents began building a relationship through regular meetings via teleconferencing, which resulted in face-to-face meetings throughout the year.
UNL Police Chief Owen Yardley began dialogue with the UAAD Board and requested member’s voice in a phase out plan for the blue lights on campus. A survey of members followed and constituencies across campus voted to begin the phase out of the emergency phones.
